Traditional Kitchen with building works

2022 - Colgate, West Sussex

Our client tells us: “This is the second time we have used Design Interiors for a new kitchen over the last 20 years. Noel is an absolute delight to deal with, he is knowledgeable, professional and helped design a superb kitchen for us. All the trades people were equally professional and courteous. Ours was a lengthy installation (c.15 weeks) given a number of building works but at no point did it drag - we were kept fully informed, everyone turned up on time and the finished product was/is magnificent. The quality of the kitchen (Davonport) and workmanship is faultless.
Would not hesitate to recommend.”

Our clients returned to us after 20 years & following a house move. They previously had a contemporary design from us & knew that this time they would like a change so, chose a traditional design. Noel had worked with them previously & was delighted to work with them once again.

Noel suggested removing a wall to fully open up the space & the use of light colours in contrast to their previous design helped to enhance the space. It was important for the clients to still have a dining table & Noel’s suggestion of a seated island was welcomed, to offer additional seating, connect the space & add a social element to the design.

The Design Interiors team carried out the building work, removing the wall & installing the supporting beam. Full trades including electrics, plumbing, plastering & decorating were completed ahead of the kitchen installation. The project was then completed with new floor tiles from the main entrance, through the hallway & into the open plan kitchen & dining area.
