Contemporary Kitchen Extension

September 2021 - Henfield, West Sussex

Our clients returned to us after 19 years. They told us their current kitchen was still in great condition, but as their children were now older, they wanted to re-evaluate the space to make a more sociable environment & incorporate an island too.

They had a clear idea of what they wanted & Tim worked closely with them to make their vision a reality.

The design process was heavily led by material choices, as it was important to our clients to have more interesting, natural textures & tones. Tim designed the new ‘Bossa’ door with a fluted finish & following a visit to the stone yard, our clients chose their natural quartzite stone, to make a feature of the island.

The island incorporates 2 colours of textured lacquer on both the front & back & whilst some handles are applied for practical use on the back of the island, the remaining kitchen units are push-to-open, to achieve a completely handless look.
