Contemporary Kitchen Extension

2023 - Brighton, East Sussex

Our client tells us: “This is our second kitchen designed by Design Interiors. Noel did a great job following our design ideas for our new home as well as giving us recommendations for the best use of space, materials & appliances. He patiently followed through during our year long building project & came to check & measure onsite as & when required. We are thrilled with the outcome. It is as we imagined it & a great place to cook & entertain. Thank you to the team for a great job!”

Our clients contacted us after we had installed their kitchen 12 years prior, as they were starting a new home project & building a kitchen extension. They knew they wanted to have a contemporary Leicht design again, as they knew it was ‘built to last.’ Noel was happy to work with them once again on their new kitchen design.

The brief was to create a seamless flow between the cooking & storage areas, to make it as warm & open as possible. Noel designed a combination of open & closed storage & placed the bar area specifically to connect the adjoining room, for when hosting parties.

The client already had an idea for the colour scheme & suggested petrol blue or carbon grey for the furniture. Noel worked with the client helping & advising throughout.

Leicht Midnight Blue units for the main kitchen & Manhattan units for the island were chosen, along with a 30mm Caesarstone worktop.
